Shadow play...

I use a green orchid pot as a candle holder on the kitchen table and the sunlight decided to have a bit of fun with it. This is about as close to decorating for Halloween as it gets around here. There's no children knocking on doors along this stretch and I bake pumpkins rather than carve them. When the kids were young, we did the whole Halloween thing in a very homemade way...costumes, carving pumpkins, trick or treating and so on. Times have changed.
